Adolf Hitler is one of the worst people to ever live. No question. He led the Nazi party to kill off millions upon millions of Jews in the name of racial cleansing. On top of that millions of civilians and soldiers died at the hand of the Germans, and overall in the worst death tolls ever in the history of warfare during the Second World War.
Please don't get it twisted, this isn't a celebration of this dude by any stretch. But, for better or worse he is one of the most polarizing men in history and there is still a curiosity about his life and origins. Below are the top ten least known facts about him.
NOBEL PEACE PRIZE NOMINEE
As a joke, Brandt who was an anti-fascist and member of the Swedish Parliament nominated Hitler for the 1939 award
INVENTED SEX DOLL
To prevent the spread of syphilis that German troops were contracting from French prostitutes, he invented the inflatable sex doll for the lonely nights in the trenches.
HITLER'S FIRST LOVE WAS A JEW
At 16 years old he was so ashamed that he never spoke to the girl and contemplated suicide.
HITLER WAS ANTI-SMOKING
He was the first to launch an ant-smoking campaign -- Hitler made it illegal to smoke in public transportation and raised the tobacco tax.
HITLER WAS A VEGETARIAN
He banned hunting and set stringent regulations on animal testing. Unfortunately, the Jews in concentration camps took their place for testing
HE WAS RESCUED FROM DROWNING AT 4
A boy around Hitler's same age rescued him after he fell through the ice at 4 years old. The boy that saved him later became a priest and regretted his heroism.

A British soldier had Hitler pinned down and had a clean shot at point blank range and decided to spare the German soldier.
